Mike,
The 0200 conversion sounds good, does it require any rework of the cowlings? Also is there any paper work, info available for the Battery instalation for the total loss system.
Thanks
Ken

Re: Engine Upgrade
Thanks everyone, Joe, I will go with the total loss system for sure, I don't think I have to worry about a Transponder where I live for quite some time. From what I read here there is no problem installing a c85-12 engine in a 7AC, is that correct? Also does anyone have a good source for a C85-12. T...

Re: Engine Upgrade
Paul, Thanks for the info. first off, I'm in Canada, and what goes there in the USA, is usually accepted up here. I'm not quite sure what you mean by total loss system, is it just a starter with a battery, no Generator? I don't want to get into Transponders etc, so the total loss system would be oak...

Engine Upgrade
I would like to put a bigger engine in my 7AC. Can anyone tell me if c85-12 with a starter (stec or similar) is approved and will it fit on the exsisting 65-8 mount. Folks around here are getting very nervous about hand propping and it is getting more and more difficult to find someone to give you a...

leaking oleo
I have one oleo that leaks Hyd fluid, it appears to be coming from the top of the Oleo and washing down taking some oleo grease with it. Is it a seal or maybe the packing that needs to be replaced? Would appreciate any help and or comments.
Thanks in advance,
Cheers

Dorsal Fin
Thanks Mike...
I like the looks of the big fin, I know it's not original, but if I ever decide to upgrade the engine, I'll be part way. I've already installed in the braces up front and a wing tank, so I think I will put the large fin on. Thanks again.

Wing Tank
Before I cover my wings I would like to install a fuel tank in the left wing. There appears to be a few choices, all I want is a few extra gallons to comply with a future engine upgrade. Can anyone give me and idea as to what is the easiest tank to install, one that hangs on spars, or sits on a plyw...
