I am looking to have the name plates on the control yoke rejuvinated, is there a plase that makes new ones or can redo the existing ones. They are not in bad shape but have sratches in the paint.

I am rebuilding an Aeronca Chief with a 65HP engine. I have the tubing for the extended vertical tail fin required for the STC for 85 HP. I am not planning to install an 85 HP engine. I am restoring a 1946 chief and have stringers made of Douglas Fir. The drawings say poplar spruce or yellow pine. What would you recomend and how do you get them to bend over the cabin area soak them?
