Recieved package, Super thanks. Worked great. Alan Does anyone have a pattern for the wood deck that goes under the Main Fuel tank on a 7AC. I do not have the old one or a pattern. I have looked in Wag Aero's and Univar and have not found one for sale. Thanks Alan I have one that I can trace and tak...

Superflite
How do you like the results from using the Superflite? I have been using Polyfiber for years, but am wanting a shinier Finish than the Aerothane will produce without putting on tons of weight.

Books
There has to be a better book. I have the Buzz Wagner Collection of Aeronca Champion Service & Parts. Some old Red book for Service. But none of them are total. I just dug out my Parts Manual for my 7KCAB and WOW what a difference. It shows all the wood locations and such. So, my question remain...

N2199E - The Beginning
Hey Guys, I have been asking so many silly questions and wanting photos, I figured I should return the favor and show my progress. So here we go. I bought the project dissembled with no clue as to where things go, other than the engine in front, small little wings in the back and the larger ones on ...

Stringers
Thanks for the photos. I bought this project completely disassembled. My wife is still shaking her head. All I have to go by is the Buzz Wagner book, the parts book from Waggle air and the photos I can steal from the group. More pictures the better as I have no clue as to how things mount. If you wi...

7AC Wood Stringers
Ok,
I am frustrated. I have a new wood kit from Rainbow Ron and now I am trying to figure out how the stringers go. Anyone have photos showing the locations of these stringers?
Thanks
Alan

Wing Tanks
Alan, do you have the original Aeronca tanks or Wag tanks? They are probably original right side tanks. The Wag tanks have the solid plate over the top. The original tanks are very easy to install. They work very well. Todd Trainer has some of the prints at www.aeronca.com. If you go with the stock...

Dorsal Fin or not
Ok, I have seen several threads about this topic, but have not seen anyone really say if it helps. I am putting together a 7AC and have decided on using the C85-12, Lasher STC. It is an option on the plane. I like options. ;) Question is, 1. If I don't put the dorsal fin mod on, what kind of issues ...

Thanks
yep, looks like that tank. He has three of them. All the same side. But I also notice that the mounting system is a flat board and strap. Might just buy the Wagaero one just to get all the attachments and the STC for the paperwork. Unless I can come up with something that says that this can be mount...

Wing Tanks Again
I am building a 7AC and have found a few wing tanks laying around locally. I am not sure if they fit a Champ. They say they are from a Champ but without a compairson photo, Can't seem to find one in any books, I have not idea. They all look like they fit a left wing, by the shape, with a fuel gauge ...
