Re: 7AC Restoration
Wow! The wing looks great, you've sure put an incredible amount of work into it! It makes me really happy to know that plane is going to fly again someday.
Re: Rant!!!
My point is,when things are as bad as it gets, I can fire your ammo but you can't fire mine. The Russians are very practical people. Paul And Im telling you no you cant. It will rupture the case and possibly damage the rifle. Never shoot any cartridge out of a rifle it wasnt designed for. I dont kn...
Re: Rant!!!
I would hope that it never got so close that .410 birdshot would be an effective deterrent. I want to see large gapping holes, Birdshot out of any shotgun is NEVER an effective manstopper, and .410 loads (even buckshot) isnt a good choice. I dont think it would penetrate the FBI minimum required 12...
Re: Rant!!!
Bob, What's great about those weapons, 7.62x54, they'll fire anything you find. 30/30 .308, 300 Win. It distorts the case due to the head space, but you're not thinking about reloading in every circumstance. Paul Oh my God that is unsafe, dont ever do that. Do not ever fire any kind of ammunition i...

Thanks Keith.
Doug: I dont know, I didnt show her. She would probably tell me to stop screwing around in her airplane! Right after I took that video she wanted to go flying for a while and I rode in the back. She did good!

Re: Bush flying Oklahoma style
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhWb6OnjY4A In this video taken Sunday March 20th I had a chicken fight with a large bird at 2:23 and although it hard to see at 3:38 I saw the most beautiful Bald Eagle with a fish as big as his wingspan in his talons prior to dropping it on the sand. I departed the ...

Video of me landing
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2IwzcRkwEs Landing to the east, I saw on downwind I had a strong wind out of the south so i cut my d/w a little short and rolled out where I thought i should be, and I see on final the wind died down to calm, but I made it work. Not my best, not my worst, but the firs...

Re: Young Eagles
Flying is already expensive and insurance on tailwheels is even more. There is no way I would have been able to afford training unless my folks were letting my fly their plane, all the other expenses besides aircraft rental were enough. (Did you know it costs $300 for a damn checkride now? Yeesh) Pt...

Re: I voted.
Voting in Illinois is discouraging because you have to compete with those that vote early, often, and from the great beyond. The voters in Illinois (and by that I mean Cook county) have chosen to keep Blagojevich light.™
