Trim

I have a question for the Aeronca guru's. I was out flying and was practicing stalls and engine out procedures. The book calls for 60 as best glide. I cannot trim for 60. I run out of trim. I have the trim all the way nose up when I am alone on landing and still have to hold back pressure. Is there ...

Re: C90 runup

I have looked high and low. Continental and Aeronca info. It is not written anywhere I have found. What rpm is going to give an accurate indication of a valid mag check.

Re: Spring gear

Ok. I will leave well enough alone. How can I make sure that I have the right amount of fluid in them. I have the no-bounce setup

Re: No Bounce?

What is a good reference for servicing the no bounce. 8.5 ounces exactly?

Re: No Bounce?

337 just says aircraft weighed. Weight and balance shows 1500 max. Reference manual shows 1450. I'm confused. I'm sure 1450 is correct.

No Bounce?

I'm thinking of taking out the no bounce oleo and putting standard oleo's in. What are the thoughts. I'm just not a big fan of the no bounce. I am aware of the decrease in the gross weight. What about log entries? Any input would be helpful.

That's my champ in the article. Would have been nice to get a copy, I only saw it. You would think they would send me a copy for using my bird. Still love it..

Re: Wide Rear Seat

I have the wide rear seat in my 60. It has shown to be a 3 place on the registry, but there has been some argument on this. Although I certainly enjoy it while I am back there watchng the ground go by..
