Hi guys, The drawing 3-44b looks exactly like the tapered axle I have on one side, but the other side has a straight axle. Both have Shinn 6C5 wheels that are stamped 65-CA 1941. I'm in Canada so I'm not sure if the rules are different, but my mechanic told me if I wanted to keep it certified I had ...

I think Univair charges about that much for a postwar one. Next year I'm going to try and get the drawings together and get a price from Acorn Wleding (they are the only place around here that can machine/weld stuff for certified planes). Does anyone know where to get prewar axle struts?
I'm also looking for Shinn wheels and brakes, in case someone has an idea where to get them.
