Re: My little girl has attitude.
But honest officer, she said she was 18??!! :) Sorry to see you have troubles but hope at least you had him pay for the Ebay fees. Not your fault that he cannot fly or then turns down some instruction in the plane. Oh well, find someone who can really fly the plane, or do what you should have done ...

My little girl has attitude.
Well a fellow came out to pickup my 7-AC today after he won it on ebay. We looked over the plane and the books, fired that puppy up, and I taxied it to the fuel pitts. He was going to make his first stop 3 hours north so he tanked her up with 26 gallons. He asked if I wanted to go with him around th...

Re: 4 hour range - 1 hour seat cushion
I have thought about putting a "T" in the vac line going to the veturi and attaching it to a funnel like we had in the H-3.

Re: 4 hour range - 1 hour seat cushion
I put the cheaper 3 color foam in mine and the 3 hour ride to Nates seems alot shorter. I have not had the chance to do a five hour leg yet but with ANR headsets, my ipod, and two gator aid jars I think I could do it!

It looks like a Cessna 172 thru 210RG , the ones that tuck the gear back in the belly. Shoot, fix the leading edge and get one of those yard carts with big tires and take off. I guess you would have to stop the prop to land it though. Hey Nate, how fast does a 7ACRG go anyway? It is almost the perfe...

I stopped my aluminum prop in the air last summer (not proud of it, but I just had to know). It did take almost a full stall to make it stop. and it started spinning again at about 110 MPH. My engine is a A-75 that had about 50 hours on it. I am guessing that if the engine has more hours on it it wo...

Ouch, ouch! The mags are great, now. But before I fixed them I found the tricks to weak Bendix SF-4's 1. Leave it running if you were just stopping to pee or get fuel. 2. Oil can be added to a running A-75. 3. If you have to shut it down and plan on starting it within the next three hours you must p...
