Thanks John.

Sorry about the late reply. This was exactly what I was looking for.

Cleveland Brake Lines

Can anyone with Cleveland wheels and brakes send me a picture of where and how their brake lines re-enter the fuselage on the belly? I'm wrapping up my plumbing on my 7EC/FC and haven't got a good picture or an airplane near me to look at.

Thanks in advance,

Rotating Beacon/ Position Lights

Wrapping up the wiring on my '60 7EC/FC prior to covering the fuselage and I have a question about the rotating beacon. I bought my airplane apart and have found no indication it had a beacon on it. I looked through the Type Certificate paperwork and it notes drawing 4-1020 but does not note if it i...

Re: Side Windows Trim

Mine's got regular holes drilled in like there was a trim panel screwed into it. The forward ends of the long curved pieces look like they are about 3/16" short like they meet up with a trim piece.

Thanks,
Steve

Side Windows Trim

Fitting the exterior rear window trim on my '60 EC and it appears that I don't have all the trim pieces. Can someone post a picture of the forward vertical exterior trim piece for both rear windows? Maybe some dimensions? I don't have a Champ handy to look at. I do have the top and bottom curved pie...

Windshield Installation Issues

I'm fitting a new Citabria-style windshield to my 7EC/FC. It had one before but, as I bought the project in pieces, the old one has disappeared. I ordered a new one from LP and as I tried to fit it, it appears that the top end of it does not curve enough to fair in with the greenhouse. It has a pret...

Re: Citabria wings

I'm planning on the same thing with my 7EC but haven't figured out how I'm going to proceed with the paperwork. I've got a nice set of 7ECA wings and would like to leave both 18 gal. tanks in just in case I decide on a bigger engine, floats, or whatever. You might consider giving Jerry Junior a call...

Re: Tail Pipes

Mike,

Very pretty airplane and thanks for the info. That explains the creative welding. I like your idea of running the exhaust back to overboard in the cut-out. I have to think about that now.......

7EC exhaust pipes

I'm getting ready to finish the new cowl on my C-90 7EC and my old tailpipes have a certain "homebuilt" look to them. Can someone email me pictures of their pipes? My mufflers look like the same ones on my 150. I'd like to fabricate new stainless ones but I'd like to see a nicer set first....

Tail Pipes

Can someone email me some pictures of their tailpipes? I'm fitting a new cowl on my 7EC (C90) restoration and my old pipes are pretty beat and cobbled together. It appears to have the same mufflers as my 150. Are the pipes supposed to be straight? Mine have about three different angles welded into t...

Continental Cylinders

I've got a big pile of used C-90/O-200 cylinders with some cracks, bad seats, guides, etc.... and want to send them out to get welded and reseated. The guy that used to do my stuff passed away and the local shop wants nearly as much as a new cylinder. Anyone recommend a shop to do this reliably and ...

I guess that was my question, if it was required or not.
Thanks a bunch,

7EC/FC Stall Warning Indicator?

Still pounding on my '60 7EC/FC and, after looking through the drawings, I see that there is a mention of a stall warning indicator. Was this an option? I got my project in pieces and I see no evidence in the panel or the wing of anything having to do with a stall warning. I saw that there is a draw...

Re: Headliner & interior

I am not considering a ceconite headliner. I like the more "finished" look of wool or vinyl.
I was just at the ACA factory and they are doing very nice vinyl. I like the rolled look around the skylight frame.
