Thanks for the responses, Bob and Richard. I am not sure if they could legally be used for the entire cowling. I know they are used in the upper cowling to allow for easier access. Maybe someone in our group knows.

Camloc Studs to Fasten Cowling
Has anyone used camloc studs to replace the screws used to secure the lower cowling on a champ? Here is a graphic below showing what the camloc studs looks like. Thanks, Joe. I will see if I can locate the two folks you mentioned. I saw where there was a Tri-Traveler flying out of Ponca Ctiy, OK. I will see if I can find his name. Didn't Chris Hyatt fly with him?

Champ Wing Spar Repair or Replacement
Can anyone recommend a good source for Champ wing spar repair or replacement near the Texas panhandle area (North Texas)? I was hoping for Texas, Oklahoma or other nearby states. Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
