Is it true that if you have a prop strike with a wooden prop, you are not required to automatically tear down the engine for inspection? (Due to it breaking apart and thus taking the brunt of the damage as opposed to a metal prop.)

Does anyone know what the typical useful load is for a 7AC? Wikipedia has the following info: Empty weight: 740 lb (325 kg) Max takeoff weight: 1,220 lb (533 kg) Does this seem accurate to you?
