The fact the the engine was brought to a engine place and they ran it on their dyno lets me to believe that the issue
is the rest of the issues on the the plane.

When i lean it out the problem goes away.

Any one know where i could order new seats for my aeronca champ. I would like a thicker seat for the rear passenger.
60 hrs so far on floats this year- has been good with lots of pickeral fishing.

In Canada I believe they are manditory now.

The PA-12 I'm looking at has a 150 hp with 2000 floats.
Should get a bit better performance.

My plane is the same , good useful load. I know the Citabria may have the same but like I said, I would like the bigger floats because some of the lakes I go don't have boats. So I fish from the floats. I'm 240 so,I have to take care or I fly home with wet feet plus if you have a passenger. Just fly...

Hi folks -- redoing my wings right now and a very experience mechanic told me to run the leading edge 4" past the spar for increased cruise speed. Anyone tried this? Anyone think it would help as well?
