I posted what was on my tablet, many more to come when I get more time! For now here is the main link? http://s1...

Re: 11CC Landing gear/oleo assembly parts help?
Wow! The bushing is a press in, friction fit, and like Mike said, should stay in the case frame. Have you considered repairing the gear or is it too far gone? Upload the photo's to a web provider... Flicker, picasa, photobucket then copy the [img] tag and link it in your post. The NAA site has limi...

Re: Top Windshield mounting and gap?
Thanks skyking3286, As posted originally, this whole aircraft has had shotty workmanship, non aircraft hardware, you name it, it had it or lacked it! Where can I obtain the drawing of the strip of Aluminum that attaches the windshield to the former at atop the cabin or any drawings or photos? I have...

Hi Guys! hope you are all having a great day? So I was fitting the existing windshield into position, and I find it interesting how it attaches at the TOP in front the top cabin former (5-171) In my case there is a 1" X 1" square piece of wood that is covered in interior material that is s...

Re: Chief 3-piece top cowl positioning?
Hi James, Thanks for the photos and additional info. My top Chief cowling had the very narrow center piece and thinking aerodynamically, I knew it had to attach on the top of the boot cowl and by chance a Champ flew in today and I was able to take a look at it and take a bunch more photos and I was ...

Re: Going Solo. . .
Hello all! Thank you for the kind support for the loss of my dad, it really means a lot to me. He lived a very large part of aviation from military to being part of the team that almost started "Coastal Airlines", to fighting fires flying the infamous TBM's for Sonora Flying Service, to ow...

Re: Scott 3200 Tailwheel LEAF SPRINGS on an 11CC?
Also if you need spares for the 3200, ABI parts are an exact match and half the price. I have used the 3200 on every Aeronca I have had for the last 30 years. Paying a bit more to make sure that I have complete control over the back end of the airplane is worth it to me... Joe A Thanks Joe, It's a ...

Scott 3200 Tailwheel LEAF SPRINGS on an 11CC?
Hi Everybody, As we progress through the completion of the Chief, we are replacing the Maule tailwheel with the Scott 3200 which is brand new in the box! I am curious what tailwheel spring other Chief users are using? ATTACHED is a photo of the current Maule assembly. We had endless issues with this...
