The program has really taken off, a lot more than the FED ever realized, and why not, it’s a good program, but th...

Re: sliding window maintenance
Well I revisited this sliding window issue, and decided to order some headliner wool. I need some to finish off my headliner, the wool has a backing on it,and I have about a half inch of play to work with, my Champ has this metal strip that attaches on top of window that holds the front slider in pl...

Re: Side plexiglas window extrusion
Ya I. Hear ya, I used machine Phillips and thin fibre locks, did a profit and will do the final assembly after I cover my fuselage. Right now they slide really well, the fibre locks don’t interfere at all.

Re: Air Box
Old Post I am in the middle of an engine upgrade and a fuselage recover, this project like all projects increasing to this a nickel and dime undertaking. The Airbox was off a Cessna 150, I think! And after talking to a few of the previous owners, The plane had an off airport landing, into an open fi...

Re: Side plexiglas window extrusion
On my 7AC Champ Project the sliding Plexiglas window was 1/2 inch thick, with no extrusions attached. The sliding window extrusions were originally probably made of Steel, the replacement extrusions I bought were made of Aluminum, and the folded area was not squared off, where it fit,and slid, and bot...
