This would be, it seems to me, a great airplane for someone with mikes background to buy and when an overhaul was indicated, do a don swords conversion to an 0200 and put the wing tank or tanks in it. I don't have that ability, or the money. Best, JC

I forgot the reason I sold it. It only had the 12 gallon tank, no wing tanks whIch severely limited it's range. I was going to add wing tanks but the price was more than I wanted to spend so I sold it.

This was the champ I owned, 81607 currently at Houston, tex. Good looking 7bcm! If it had had wing tanks I woulda kept it.

Today.....the owner passed away a few years ago and so the hangars are mostly in disrepair and need maintence plus the aircraft owners who cared about the place and helped out some are gone. Changing times.

Forgot......at the bottom, the doors had attachments for metal rods that dropped into pipes in the ground so the doors could not blow into the aircraft. The original hangars were cantilever types. Simple but worked very well.
