Engine stands
Any tips out there for building an engine stand for an A-65? I brought a spare engine and would like to pickle and store it on a movable stand. I have an old automotive stand and figured it could be converted. Can anyone give me some tips? Thanks.

McCauley CM 74/39 Propeller Question
I just found a very nice McCauley 1B90 CM 74/39 propeller (original configuration). I've never heard of one pitched this flat for a Continental A-65 and am not sure what airplane it came off of. I plan to use this on my 7AC, but figured I need it twisted to a 43 pitch for the best climb performance....

Wing tanks in a 7AC Champ
I have a 7AC Champ with an A-65. It has the standard nose gas tank and one 13 gallon wing tank. Are there any advantages in removing the nose tank and adding an additional wing tank to have all the fuel in the wings or would this cause weight and balance issues? Thanks.

Re: Cub-like gas cap
I found a old Cub cork and wire cap that fits my Champ perfectly. It is the one I use now.

Propeller Help
I was planning to install a Sensenich M76AK-2 on my 7AC Champ with an 65 Continental. This is an approved prop for an A-65 and according to the Champ type certificate (TC-A-759), it is also listed as approved for the 7AC with the provision that the static r.p.m. and diameter limits are the same as f...

Citabria Door fit Champ?
Does anyone know if a Citabria door will fit a old Champ? I could use newer door and have an opportunity to buy a 7GCBC door.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Sensenich Metal Climb Prop ?
Has anyone flown a 65 hp Champ with a Sensenich M76AK-2-40 climb prop?
The prop is legal, but would the pitch be a problem? Obviously, I'm not too concerned about speed, but don't want to over rev the engine. Should I have the prop repitched?
Thanks.

Anyone familiar with Bill See and his flight training operation out of Centerburg, OH? He has a 7AC and a nice looking grass strip. Thanks.

Thanks for the recommendation Dave. Greg looks to have a nice operation there that would work out good for me. I plan on giving him a call.

Re: Light Sport Pilot Training
John,
I had 15 hours solo in a 7ECA several years ago and am essentially in a restart mode. I'm hopeful that everything will come back in short order and thought if I could work it, the accelerated training would be in my best interest.

Looking for Rear Shoulder Harness Hardware
I currently have a loop of aircraft cable wrapped around a rear tube cluster as the attach point for my rear shoulder harness. I would like to find a Wag Aero clamp-on bracket or similar hardware to replace the cable. I don't believe Wag Aero sells just the bracket alone and they did not respond to ...
