Re: Wing Inspection AD 2000-25-02

I would like to point out that there were two fatal crashes in the last 15 years or so with established and well progressed compression cracks from negative G loads near the lift strut attach points. The first I believe was an 8 series before the AD but after the service bulletin. The last was a GCB...

Re: Brake ID

I found the manual. It's only seven pages. BF Goodrich Maintenance Manual 165 dated 1 Feb 65.

I loaded it to my drop box: https://www.dropbox.com/s/x5bv38qosa0bcfo/2-883.pdf

Re: Brake ID

Thanks Paul. That is what I thought it was. That brings the second question. Has anyone a copy of any manuals or drawings for this brake? Also it apopears to have a pair of modifed cleveland brake pad anvils and pads replacing the traditional pucks.

Problems joining the Bellanca-Champion Club

Anyone try joining this club/board? They have the spam bot proof question "What makes a Bellanca able to fly?:" for which there are at least a dozen possible answers yet none past the criteria and the web site offers no other way to contact site administrators without logging in.

Brake ID

I have reviewed all 5 pages of this board. Can anyone ID this brake? It is being used on a 7FC converted to 7EC with a Goodrich wheel Assy # 3-1086. http://willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules/gallery/albums/album332/DSC00474.jpg http://willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules/gallery/albums/album332/DSC00478.jpg http://...
