Joe,
I would like to see the pictures.
I have most parts for a Chief fuselage and am thinking of building an
experimental look-a-like. Or maybe sell the parts and move on.
Thanks

Metalized Chief or Champ?

Has anyone metalized a Chief or Champ?
If so,
How did they do it?
How much weight did it add to the fuselage? wings?
Any pictures?
Thanks

Joe
Some call them canopy, cabin, windshield, etc. Its for covering the windshield and cabin aera when tied down outside. They also make them
for the wings and tail.

Thanks Jody for the reply. I was hoping for the performance figures from some of the chief drivers.
The TC, A-761, calls for 2300 max and 1990 min for wood props.
I would like more cruise but not sure if a metal or wood would be the best prop to look for.

Cruise Prop for Chief

I have a Sensenich wood 72ck42 prop on my 46 Chief, 65 hp and see 2300 static and about 75 MPH indicated cruise.
Climbs about 400 to 450 fpm @ gross with outside temp about 60.
What prop, static, and cruise are others seeing on their 65 hp Chiefs?

I used the Wicks part number RC-4. Worked great for me.

Spar Bushings

I'm building new spars for my Chief and have a question about the 1-2311
bushings. Do you glue them when installing?
