Re: Middletown 2021
It seems as if a lot of the conversation is on Facebook, but I’m not a fan and wanted to post this here. First, GREAT FLY IN! The Champ is not my first airplane, and this is not my first type club fly in. Great job, fantastic atmosphere, and a lot of fun! Kudos to the hard working volunteers and tho...

Re: Middletown 2021
Hi Bob Sorry you can’t make it! Clow has definitely changed. A&M is gone, and JWA is there now. I love the airport, but the local office politics are about to drive me off the field. One person with an agenda. It’s growing very, very, very old. The airport manager (who is NOT the person with the...

I am pre-registered and looking forward to flying from the Chicagoland area to KMWO early Thursday. If anyone else is headed that way from up here, please drop me a note.

2021 Fly in registration
Hi
I found the flyer for the event and made a hotel reservation. Thanks for the group rate!
The event flyer says “please pre register.” How?
Thanks! Looking forward to bringing NC81757 to the fly in! (Hopefully with one or two other Champ’s!)

N81757 finds a new home
We purchased NC81757 this weekend. It is a 1945 Aeronca Champ that was owned by the same family for 39 years. It has had a painstaking restoration and has logs to day one. Just looking those over is amazing. The S/N Is 378. I flew it home yesterday and my in-laws flew formation part of the way home ...

Serial number sequence
Hi everyone I’m a new member and picking up a 1945 7AC this weekend. I’m learning all I can, but one thing perplexes me. This aircraft made its first flight in December 1945, but has a serial number in the high 300’s. How did Aeronca sequence their serial numbers? I see a s/n 10 listed.... Just curi...
