Champ fuel guage very inaccurate

As per my previous post..option 1..I used the longer 7EC motor mount and the 0-200 lord motor mounts along with a new 7EC bottom cowl from Wag Aero..Guess what everything worked out..I don't have to use conical metal inserts..The lord mounts brought everything where they should be.. http://i270.phot...

In addition why don't you guys use a stronger BUTT rib in place of the thinner MAIN rib for additional strength? That's what I do..sorry for being the devil's advocate..also that is what my friend does who has built minimum 60-70 Champs and Citabrias.. plus many more more wings..

here is the baggage door I made for my second champ, the fittings for putting the elevator cables underneath the floor boards were made according to blueprint 7-1050...also as was quoted the elevator cables will rub against the flat bottom of the 7AC control torque tube, therefore one has to substit...

My diagrams show 104 1/32 inches from the outside of the hole in the eyelets (1-2453) which would be the same as Jody's..1-2084 nicopress sleeves are used.. Four of these aileron balance cables are required (1-2339)...As for the cabin aileron control cables 91-2397) ..they are 35 1/2 inches long fro...

I will borrow a digital camera and take some photos later..right now the stripped bare fuselage is on a rotary rack for some touch up painting..etc..then I will have to learn to download to my new computer ( the other computer totalled)...

I am rebuilding a second 7AC Champ (0-200 with C-90 cam)...I used wheels and hydraulic drum brakes off of a PA-22 (same numbers listed in Univair), and I used Citabria master cylinders (stronger than the thinner 7EC master cylinders)...
