Wife and I just went on our 43ed 'honeymoon' and flew into Richmond, Va. After traveling around the east coast for a few days, I had some time before I had to return the rental car so I checked out the local museum at the Richmond airport. This is one of two Aeronca "C" models they had on display. Having only seen one before at Oshkosh years ago, I found them very interesting. Because they were hanging I didn't get a change to look at them very close up. I forget the exact models other than they were "C"'s. Also, while in the DC area, we drove to the new Air and Space Complex connected with Dulles. Very interesting and well worth the time to visit, if you haven't. The Enola Gay is in there plus many old planes along with a space shuttle. I believe they also had a "C" model hanging there, too. They have computer animations of the cockpit areas. One of the better museums, I've visited over the years.
