Any one know where to get infomation on rigging 7AC Champ ski's??? I have the info from 43.13-2..I talked to Bill Pancake and he though Federal had specks for the Aeroncas.....The ski's I have are Federal 1500 or 750 each...left and right.....I would like to know the lenth of the front and rear cable....Thanks for your time..Richard Kosi 815 313 5596
Started Flying in 1959. Soloed in a 7AC champ, I am comming up on 15,000 loged hrs. and will go out in a 7AC Champ. Currently restoring SN 7AC-610 N-81985.

Hi.. I have my federal drawings for the chief and the champ somewhere. I'll try and find them OR i know a guy who has the info. If I remember right, it is not the length we measured, but the angle the ski made at various pitch angles that is important. Although, once you have a chief or champ rigged right, then I guess it is a measured affair. On a Champ the from cable is approx.45 inches the rear cable is 32 to 35 inches
I just came across the Federal ski installation PDF somewhere on the web but for the life of me I can't find it now and I didn't bookmark it as I have a copy on file.
