Can someone point me to where I could find the statistics on a 7 HC?
Gross Wt., Net weight, range, etc. Also does anyone know if there has been
a "Pilot Report" article printed on an HC? If so, where?
Thanks in advance.

Mike,
I took your information for the A-759 data sheet and Googled it. It gave me all the information I needed. Thank you.

Bill, There aren't too many still around. I used to fly one regular. Nice stable bird. Real heavy empty weight due to nosewheel, lycoming engine, and extra structure in fuselage. Likes gas due to extra drag from third wheel and higher induced drag.
Kinda weird flying a Champ with a control wheel. Took a little getting used to. It had the wide track landing gear. Had to be flown to a full stall landing or the nose gear would try to touch sooner than it should. Would fly off early due to the higher resting angle of attack with the wide gear.
In a lot of wind or xwind you couldn't unload the wing all the way due to this also. Always felt like it needed a bigger tail for more directional stability. Worked the rudders a lot in cruise to keep the ball centered. Would only do 95-100 cruise without a real high fuel burn.
Hope this helps, David J.
P.S. this one weighs just over 1200 empty, I think Bill Pancake used to fly/instruct in one in the old days...

Dave,
Thanks for the "flyers" view. That is interesting about them being heavy and and landing with a cross wind. Something only some one who had flown one would know.
