Need brakes

I own a 1941 65TAC that's in need of wheels and mechanical brakes. I'm told that wheel and brake assemblies from the 7AC will work. If that is true, does anyone have any idea where I can locate a set?

I realize that I can do with poor brakes most of the time but it's nice to be able to do brake turns in those tight spots like at fly-ins and busy ramp areas.

Hi Don, they come up for sale on e-bay from time to time a complete pair just sold for $255.00 on 2/8/08. Do you need complete brake assemblies or parts?

If you aren't in a big hurry..I may be installing Hydraulics on my Champ sometime this summer and will be selling the original mechanicals.
