heat muffs

Post by tkaiser »

4 or 5 years ago, I was at Sun and Fun at the swap tent and found some new heat muffs a guy made. The last several years there have only been CUB stuff there. Does anyone know where to find heat muffs other than the 100.00 a side in the books????

Go to Barnstormers. Look for the muffler adds from Sonny Porch. Fire him off an e-mail or give him a call

If you find a scource, I'm looking for a pair also (for straight stacks) --- shoot me an e-mail if you find some reasonable.
I'll have an exh. muff. sys. w/ heat muff. removed from a C-90 coming up for sale soon (think it's originally off of a J-3). If someone needs --- let me know....

Thnx, Pat

I found a set in the back of a friend's hanger!!! He thought they were with a Taylorcraft project he had. They cleaned up pretty good. Some times you do get lucky!!
