Aeronca Chief for Sale in California

Hi everyone,

A 1946 Aeronca Chief, 11AC-1266 (N9628E) is for sale at Flabob Airport in Riverside, California. The owner is Karen Schicora. You can reach her at (contact info deleted)

Her husband Bill had the project until he passed away recently. She needs to sell it quickly.

The airplane has 1914.4 hours total time on engine and airframe. The A-65 engine has 610.9 SMOH. The last annual was in 1991. It has new Stits Polyfibre, new fuselage wood, and new wood spars. The headliner is in a box and needs to be installed. The fabric for doing the seats comes with it, along with the Wagner STC-SA57RM to install an O-200 or O-235. The boot cowl and engine cowl need paint, but everything else has a fresh coat of red Poly-Tone.

The only missing parts are the side windows. Everything else comes with the project. She is asking $10,000 or best offer.
