Pitot and static lines
I was just thinking of replacing my aluminum pitot and static lines with either Nylo-seal NNR or Poly-flo tubing. From my reading of the catalog, I think that Poly-flo tubing is approved for certificated aircraft but I'm not sure of the Nylo-seal tubing. There's a small price difference and Nylo-seal is approved for 1500psi and Poly-flo is 400 psi. Is it acceptible to replace the aluminum tubing with one or the other plastic tubings? My thinking is that it might be a little easier to work with and have a small weight savings. Thanks, Jim
