Seminars at Midwest Aeronca Festival

Post by Jody Wittmeyer »

Things are looking good for this years fly0in. Jack Hooker from Hooker Harness is going to be down to show his excellent shoulder harnesses. They have a new bolt on harness for the chief. Since I have a bare chief, he is going to show the installation and answer any questions. I am sure he would also sell some :D .
Tony Renye' and his wife, from Kentucky Aircraft Restorations will also be there all weekend. Tony is doing a fabric seminar. Since I have some control surfaces that need to be recovered, this could be a hands on workshop.
Ross Carbiener will be giving a continental engine seminar and answering questions. Be good to Ross. Not only is he making Cub tanks, he bought the engine mount (swing-out) STC for the champs. He does quality work. Maybe, if someone could get the drawings, he could start making Champ wing tanks. Hope to see you all there. Jody

Chris,

Go back to the NAA Bulletin Board and scroll down to "Aeronca-Related Events". Scroll down almost to the bottom and click on "May 13-15, 2005 3rd annual Midwest Aeronca Festival". This will tell you what it is. Click on his web site and you will probably find out more than you want to know. Hope this helps,
Don
