Sedan Floats

We're looking into a STC for PK2300 floats installed on the Sedan. It's such a great floatplane but the EDo 2000s are just so small. We've talked to a DER and the float manufacturer. It looks like a great match. The aircraft will be much more seaworthy. Anyone interested?

I am currently looking at buying a Sedan on Edo 2000's. Is this too small of a float set up and is it going to be a problem. I am a first time float plane buyer.
