Doug,
Do not waste any time with TAP. I love the old yellow rag (and read it from time to time) but Barnstormers is a lot better for someone trying to sell an airplane. I had calls and emails from all over the country, and the same day. Airplane finally sold to a gent in Alabama, 1600 miles away, so coverage is excellent.
If you really want it to sell, talk with Jeff (jeff@barnstormers.com) and tell him you are a friend. He bent over backwards to help when I was selling my Chief.

Joe--
I've already done it for my 65 Champ and Cessna 182--cutting down to two airplanes. You can see multi pictures under Aeronca and Cessna Skylane. Really hate to sell the 182 as I upgraded it like I wanted it, but eevryone around here now is either gone, gets airsick, isn't interested and has no gas money. 12-14 gallons an hour just to do what a Champ will do doesn't make sense. It is a real performer with the VG's and STOL kit--you have aileron control during stall and reduces approach speed. A trigear short field airplane. I have the large nose gear for it also.
You can see the pictures of both on Trade-A-Plane right now.
Brnstormers next.
Thanks for the help and info.
Doug
I will post them on Barnstormers is next. I have to stumble through all this new magic. In the old days you just posted an ad--today you have to have pictueres of everything

The current market stinks for selling and buying. Very few guys "have" to sell a plane and right now no one wants to pay much.
Worked out great for me.........I still have my beloved Chief. I just finished changing out the plumbing to the rear aux tank. 23 gallons is a lot of fuel.
One thing that is still out there is "tire-kickers"........if I had a nickel for every guy that has called, e-mailed or looked at my Chief when it was for sale I could have bought another one.
I have decided not to trade for a commuter..............still looking to trade for a sport biplane.
