Carb heat cable length

Hello everyone,
I have a question to all of those who experienced my same problem. I was performing my run-up and check my carb heat when the cable broke off at the attachment point on the airbox.

1) Do you know the length of the carburetor heat cable and the correct style of handle for a 1946 7AC (T-handle or round knob?)

2) Does anyone know the part number from either Safe-Air/Wag or Univair for the swivel stud/or bolt that the cable attaches it's self to the airbox. This is where the cable broke off due to improper hardwear attachment to the carb-heat box.

DC,
I believe it should have a round knob. I picked up a replacement at NAPA. It is a marine application. Brass bowden cable and they come pretty long, I think I bought the 72" length.

I need to check some old photos of Aeronca's in my books for the correct style. The swivel parts seems to elude me since its not in the parts manual for Aeronca.

DC,
Most of the time I drill a hole in the shank of the appropriate size bolt. If you can get your hands on an early Citabria manual it shows this attachment style at the handle end.
