wnd generators-alternators

Post by leeport33 »

Have never heard of any wind gens or alts mentioned these days.
They are of course used in the sailboat world and of course props
that wouldnt work on an airplane "I think" Anyway, just mention this
in the event they are out there some place. the thousand dollar price
tag for a generator, alternator is of course out of the question for this kid.
Would be fun to have something like this that actually worked, being this
old fashioned person that I am.

Thanks for the come back on wind gens, etc. I didnt expect to find
anyone with this knowledge. I was interested in a KitFox for some
time, however being this old guy didnt think I would be able to fnish
one up like it deserves and then be able to fly it. better to have something to fly now as my extended age might not allow time for
later on if you know what I mean. Everyone runs out of the stuff by and
by. We dont think so, but its true.
