I believe there is an STC for this.
What is entailed in this? Is this dual toe brakes installation?
What is a reasonable cost to have this done?
Reason is, I'd like to give my daughters some instruction in the Chief and while I've stated out with them in the right seat, I'd really like to instruct with them in the left seat. But with brakes on only the left side I'm not willing to do that. For the record, I am a CFI.

The STC for toe brakes is held by Buzz Wagner, or as he has now passed, his estate or company up in the Dakota's. I believe that his Son has now taken over the company but not sure.
It pretty much replaces the heel brake pedals with the 11CC & 15AC style cast aluminum toe pedals. How much is involved in it I do not know. Personally I would never switch to toe pedals just for that, and would only make the change if I was putting in a Hyd brake system. I do not have a problem with the heel brakes but some do not like them.
Now, every 11 series airplane made can put heel brake pedals on the pax side with no paperwork as its an option that is allowed on the Type Certificate Data Sheet from Aeronca. Several Chief's that were used for flight training had them on both sides.
All you have to do is to get a copy of the blueprint, find or make the parts and follow the blueprint.

There have to be drawings for this but without knowing the number of the drawing I simply do not have the time to find it.
You might go on Todd Trainors website and see if you can find the drawing number there, then let us know and we can email it to you.
Then I bet that you would have to find a spare set of rudder pedals, and take the brake pedals off of them and move them to the right side. Cables and housings would be the same as those used on the left side.
