John Deere Part #

I have lost my paper with the John Deere part number that folks use for the rubber grommett that fits around the fuel filler neck on Chaps/Chiefs/Cubs. Anyone have it handy?

Joe--

Thanks for the reply--my problem was if if searched Deere and my wife saw it I would have a problem-- she has a short fuse since I am an OF and all her old boy friends have gone west. After 54 years she doesn't want me to drop anchor for a speed boat or RV pilot or someone that has a hard time getting into the cockpit or proping it--regarding Champs she is skepitcal of button pushers/switch flippers also --since I still hand prop and get into the cockpit..

Thanks for the info I will pursue it with vigor. When we get together I will buy--forget that Georgia homemade coolaid machine we will get it out of a bottle--might be recycled..

Glad to help, but its just that I am out of the country on a 5 day trip and not on the board as often as usual, so may not be able to chime in very often.

Bring your wife up to Middletown 2010 and I may be able to sway her over to a Sedan, which has a starter onboard and makes life easier as we all get older!

Summer in Ohio, just about any beverage tastes good. I do still have that "extra bottle" of Nathan's squeezings at my house in Phoenix in case any of you gents get out that direction.
