I have spoken with Burl regarding his isntallation for the Odyssey battery. His box mounts on the firewall. I want to mount mine back where the original battery was mounted in the Champ. I am planning on requesting approval via a 337. Maybe Burl will let me use his STC as data for approval of my 337. I haven't asked him however.

I installed a Skytec and have been very happy with it. Skytec has a STC for the C85-12 and Aeronca 7 Series aircraft.

I got a field approval to install a battery box, battery and associated wiring for a total loss system. Technically I am still a non-electric airplane.
