Would someone consider doing up a printable (off this forum) flyer inviting non partcipating Arenoca owners to join up. Flyers much like you would see for a Fly-in.

Reason being, I was at an airport couple weeks ago & there was this Champ sitting on floats. Now I have no idea who, where his is, was but was thinking if a guy had some flyers you could pass out to Areonca owners you might meet at fly-ins, airports..etc inviting them to participate in this fine forum, we might increase the owner participation & thus gain new knowledge & insights.

More the merryer
Good idea or not

Flyer

Good idea. I have mentioned the forum to folks but a flyer would give them something to use for follow up. It could be a PDF file available on the site for printing up as needed.

Senior,

I do this at the fly-in's that I attend.

The idea is a good one and the more people we have on this bulletin board (and with the NAA) the more information we have to help everyone.

My first Aeronca was back in 1979 and restored it with the help of the A&P school I was attending at the time and one very experienced Aeronca guy. No internet and if we needed help it was send a letter and wait. The internet has changed this and if someone needs help, its here usually within a day or so.

If you guys are going to a fly-in please do what you can to get the word out and I will get with Brian and the other NAA board members and see what we can work up. If someone else on the list wants to make up something please do so.

Also if anyone wants to work on a notice or flier like this, pls put the website info and that we are having a national fly-in being held at the orginal Aeronca Factory in exactly one years time, in 2010.

Thx,

Joe A

Someone with a smigine of graphics experience could make it look good.
even a buisness card size would be helpfull, could carry a few around and leave them where they might appreciated. A PDF we could download and print up would be easy.

Or a flier like this could be posted in the FBO's and such at airports.
