I have the formers done and attached in. I ground down one of my #6 rivet sets for the squeezer. It work rather well. I just ground it to a point then squeezed them on. Works on all but the long ones.
I am having problems with the second stringer from the top (Picture). it looks like it will stick out past the fuselage. Is this supposed to curl in? Does anyone have a pic from when they did a cover.
I also did the panel in leather. I am fabricating some covers to finish out the look.

I noticed on the smaller stringers on yours that the angle was cut from the inside where mine was cut from the outside. Rounded edge goes out right? I also see that he only old wood you kept was the same one I did.
Do you have any on the cover process? I was told to go from the top stringers to the bottom on both sides then connect the top. The tail section is still a little fuzzy.
Dan
Should the middle stringer be a straight line? Or does it curve to fit the fuselage lines?
Bottom stringer hits the brace and bowes out. I cut it out a little so it fits without bowing out. Right or wrong? It does not look correct bowed out, but the old one was not cut out.
You can see the end of the second stringer and what is going to happen with the fabric going from the bottom to the brace just above the stringer. The old one is the same length.
On the lower stringer see how the end is cut on the out side of the stringer rather than the inside like the old one. Not a big deal as I could turn it over and round off the other side.

Dan: When I did mine I elected to do everything BUT the covering BEFORE I covered. This way I had the freedom to fit and finish each part without the fabric on. It was really quite easy to remove all the newly refurbed parts cover and then re-install all those ready to go parts. I think that most parts need more fit than finish. It was alot easier for me this way, and was quite rewarding in the speed of the re attachment of all those pre fit parts. Any way you go your in for a treat when you cover. I just went thru it. Enjoy

This is what I came up with for the customer. The wings had some yellow on them and I do not have to do them so I was limited. Seats are Brown. Customer would not redo them even though they are just cushions. Which one do you like best.
