Pictures of Aeronca and airport

Post by MikeB »

I've been in the process of redoing the website for the airport that is owned by our flying club (I serve as president, toilet cleaner, grass cutter and bill collector).

Anyway, if you scroll to the bottom, you'll see that I posted a picture of the three Champs on our field. The nearest is owned by our local medical examiner, the furtherest over is mine which I restored from a basket case and the middle one is owned by 10 members. There are 7 aircraft on our field, 3 Champs, two Cherokee 140's, a Stinson 108 and a restored Piper Colt. There are also a couple of hangers with aircraft in various states of disrepair: Beech Bonanza, Stinson, KR-2, BD-4, etc (none of which will probably ever see completion).

It's a private strip but we enjoy company. Of course, we have snow, now.

Mike,

Next time you have a "senior moment" as I call it, you do not need to do a new post, just click on the "edit" button and if you are the person who posted it and are logged in, you can go back and edit any of your old posts.

One of the nicer things about the new type of bulletin board!
