HELP!
I am building a 1/5 scale radio controlled scale model of an Aeronca Sedan on floats.
It will participate in scale flying contests off water.
There is also a static competition where the model needs to represent its full scale counterpart as precisely as possible.
Therefore, I am in search of pictures and 3-views of Sedan floatplanes:
Should show the original setup with EDO 2000 floats.
Should show Sedan with C-145/O-300 cowling; not 180 hp conversion.
Any detail shots of floats, rigging, water rudders are appreciated.
Black and whites are great, color pictures are perfect.
My favourite original to model it after is NX39801 depicted in a few black and white pictures in some books that I have. So, if anyone has more photographs, drawings, info on that plane, that would be great.
