There is a fly in going on right now, from this past wednesday to this saturday. Gail and I flew in today. The facilities are absolutely unique. There is a 7000' wonderfully smooth and kept up grass runway. There are actual bath facilities, and these are many, not just one. This site is the most prepared and unique airstrip/camping spot/party spot I have ever seen.
The guy who owns it must have spent millions. You guys have GOT to go.
They are supposed to have a P-51 and lots of other types there Saturday.
Make plans not to miss this one. Gail and I are going back for the barbeque this saturday, rain or shine. This is one gorgeous spot that no one should miss. Remember, Triple-Tree (Woodruff) South Carolina, SC00 is the identifer. They have a temporary tower there, and the controllers are SO polite.. must be southerners...
