I just had the honor of escorting Gene Soucy and wingwalker Teresa Stokes to a hotel here in Ponca City. He was on his way back to Dallas from an airshow in North Dakota. What a nice guy. I'll post some pictures tomorrow.
His airplane reminds me of my Dad's old AG Cat cropduster. Brings back some great memories.

Nice pictures, Chris. I met Gene and Teresa and got to see the Show Cat up close several years ago. I was also impressed with them and the plane. The Cat was a lot cleaner than the Ag Cats I loaded and flagged for growing up in Arkansas.

As the son of a cropduster, I have also pushed a lot of fertilizer into the hopper of Ag Cats. Not to mention refueling the top wing fuel tank with the engine running. Then there is the hand propping radial engines at 15 and 150lbs soaking wet. I still freak out when I look at them today and think I use to hand prop them.Jimmy Payne wrote: The Cat was a lot cleaner than the Ag Cats I loaded and flagged for growing up in Arkansas.
But the best of the best is getting to flush out the nozzles at the end of the day. I was 15 years old taxing around this big ole cropduster to the end of the field where I would run up the RPM's to get the wind generator going so the pump would flush out the spray nozzles.
MAN I wish my Dad was still around! I would ask him what he was thinking.
Of course he is the guy who gave me my first airplane ride. 5 years old one his knee……….Stearman cropduster of course!

Believe that things worked out pretty well. He would be proud of you even though you sold your taildragger!
