I think you can still buy these from Aircraft Spruce, Wag Aero and Univair. Search for 'rudder arms' on the Spruce site. I think the Champ has a 1" diameter. Anyone else comment on this?

I recommend putting in some AN42 eye bolts to prevent the rudder horn getting destroyed again. I know it takes like 20 years to wear through but we all like to preserve these aircraft for a long time. Eye bolts from A/C Spruce are only 3 bucks a piece and opposed to over 100 dollars for the rudder horn.
