Twins!

Post by Nathan K. Hammond »

I'm gonna be a DAD! And not just one, but two little girls! We found out during a 16 week ultrasound, that there are twins hanging out in there. Talk about a SHOCK! So far everything is doing fine, the twins are in the same baby sack (Monoamniotic Monochorionic) which does present some concern. Because there's no barrier between the girls like normal twins; they run a risk of entangling the cords. But like I said; so far they're doing just fine, so no need to worry.

The down side; because there's two in there, it moves the due date up around the 30-32 week date.... around June 12th. So, doesn't look like I'll make Middletwon this year. But thats okay; I'll have other things on my mind!

Guess I get to have the second PINK Champ.

Ahh, Nate,

You are going to need a Pink DC-3 if you keep going at this rate!

You better find a way to make it to Middletown this summer, or we might just kidnap you!

Congrats!

We have already scheduled a Memorial Service for Tater. The Great Adventure begins. We are all hoping they take after Kelley. Now we know what he has been doing instead of working on his Champ! David J.

Congrats Nate!!!! You are going to have your hands full. A couple of years of little sleep and then the fun begins. When they get to be teenagers I'll send you a sympathy card!!! LMAO......If you don't understand ask any of us that have raised daughters.;)
I've got two, 31 and 33 and they produced 5 grandkids so far.
Spend as much time with them as you can while they are growing up. They seem to sprout FAST and soon they are gone.

pay attention...
1) Strange math....One kid = workload easy, 2 kids = workload Quadruples...???
2) No matter how sweet they are at 5 or 6, they will turn into "non-humans" at 13 (lasts all thru the teen years).
3) It's true what "they" say, ...Start Saving Early.
4) They will wreck their car several times.

I have 2 girls in college, 1 graduates May '10 and the other is half-way thru.
Would I do it again? ....Absolutely !!

16 hours and counting; Kelley is scheduled for a C-section tomorrow afternoon. 1400est prep and a 1600est show time, so keep your fingers crossed for her and the girls.
