Wanted: Interior PULL ASSEMBLY for Sedan Cabin Door

Post by Matt »

To complete our interior door pull assembly, I am looking for the below parts as listed in Figure 9 of the Sedan Parts Catalog. (Possibly, these were also used on the Champ or Chief.) Thank you for any offers! Matt

9-24, 78-737160, Clip (Ford Motor Co.), 2 pieces
In the attached photo, these are hidden behind the two chromed metal covers.

9-28, 6M-7362806, Cover (Ford Motor Co.), 2 pieces
In the attached photo, these two chromed metal covers are visible at the ends of the pull chord.

Wonder what model of Ford these came from in the late 1940s?

I have no idea, Joe.

Have been searching the inventory of vintage car parts dealers online and also ebay, for years, now, but to no avail. I ain't giving up, yet!

If they were originally Ford car parts, you might check with Dennis Carpenter.

Rick,

Dennis Carpenter don't list these in their online inventory, but I should probably contact them anyway. They might have parts in stock that are not on their website.

Thanks for the hint!
