Memorial Day is not that far around the corner. Lets make sure that Chris and his buddies have something airplane (hopefully Aeronca) to read over there in Iraq.

Remember that if you have magazines only to send that they can be send "bulk rate, printed matter" to the APO address then the US Military picks them up and they go by air (once the damm volcano stops!) from there to Iraq.

Lets make sure that they know we have not forgotten them! I have a small bundle of things that I am going to ship out in the coming week, then follow it up after that every so often. He has 10 months until he comes back home, so lets keep them well stocked.

Guys I can't tell you how much this means! Words are not enough. However, I would also encourage you to visit your local VA hospital the real heroes are in there, and they are passing off way to fast. I do this because I love my country; my plumber once knocked a house call bill in half just because I serve. I told him I volunteered to do this......he told me maybe you did but if you didn't they might volunteer me.

Be careful over there!!! I am ex-AF, my wife is actvie duty Army (23+ years), and my daughter (Army also 14+ years)returned from Afganistan last fall. My son is AF ROTC and was informed a month ago that he was selected for a pilot slot in the Air Force Undergraduate Pilot Training. He will be commisioned as soon as he graduates colleg next year.
I guess what I am saying is I am VERY patriotic and want you to know my prayers and thoughts go out to you and all the troops serving.

You have a pretty good sized box that should be there any day now with loads of magazines and so on inside. It may be there already. If you are heading back to CONUS then spread them around the guys still there.
