My 1941 Aeronca Chief LB, no electrical, has just come off the scales at 793 lbs. Wondering how that compares to other Chiefs of this vintage. no wheel pants Rod

Rodney,
Most of the planes come in about 800lbs. The factory numbers are a bit lower, but this could be to a bunch of reasons. At 800lbs it will fly like a dream, go out and enjoy it.
