trim tab fricton disc

Post by RMASS »

Ok gentlemen, Took the trim tab control apart to clean and inspect before re installing. The disc I have look like leather--Is that correct. All the parts manual shows is disc. Mine are paper thin so, I'm going to replace them. Is it leather or something exotic? Normal thickness is what 1/16-1/8 Have plenty of adjustment on the control knob. Ron

While I'm at it. I removed the prop from the 85 and have available for anyone that knows anyone looking for a complete cowling and eyebrows along with motor mount and mufflers for a J-5. Thought I'd try here first to see if you knew anyone. They are in relatively good shape cowl is great. Have no clue what to ask. :?: :?: Ron
