Gorgeous January Morning over Lancaster County

Post by Dan1940Chief »

We've had a very nice winter so far here in Eastern PA. This weekend is another beauty, so I flew this morning and enjoyed flying low and slow over the Lancaster county farmland.

Hi Dan,

Where is Smoke Town, PA? I normally fly on Monday's or Tuesday's as I work most weekends. This coming week it will be Tuesday. We should meet for lunch one day if you fly during the week at all.

Hi Dan,

Do you know Jerry Rosey and his Chief? He is based just outside of Harrisburg. He holds a CAP and an Aeronca Fly-In of sorts each year.

I know a little about the Lancaster Area. I was married to a girl from Harrisburg for 23 years and had an office in PA when I was with St. Regis Paper Company. I had accounts in Lancaster back in the 70s.

Ciao - Robert

Jerry and I have exchanged emails. I need to fly over and see his Chief!

My Parents live upstate (near Potsdam) and I worked a couple of summers in the Adirondacks -- even though West Nyack isn't really "upstate"

Was able to get out again this morning -- another gorgeous day! If this is "global warming," then let's have more!
