Hello Eveyone,

N86310 recently joined my family and I am looking forward to discussions with you about the Whims and wiles of Aeronca Chiefs with you and particularly with respect to her and my becoming more familiar with her. Once she is settled in her new hangar at 2PN1 in Northern Pa., I will try to post some pictures. I won't start any technical discussions tonight but, am interested if anyone has ever come across her before. I have the full set of logs since she was born, however, any interface which you may have he is of interest to me.

Hi Dale,
Welcome to the group. Lots of information changes hands on here. I own both a L16A with a 0200 conversion and a 65 horse Champ but many other Chief owners on this site, too. Post some pictures when you can. We love to look at Aeroncas :D .

Welcome Dale. Tennessee Chief owner here. You may already be aware of it, but you just missed the Aeronca Convention in Middletown Oh about 3 weeks ago. Here's a link to the pics of the planes that were there. And later if you get an urge to really jump in with both feet reference Aeronca discussion, there's also a very active (like you had better dedicate an email adddress just to it) email discussion group also availabe. You'll see many of the same persons both here and there. If you get that urge, let me know and I'll give you the link for it. roger

Dale,
Great to have you with us. This group is one of the few type clubs that actually assist the owners. You'll find a bunch of useful information and experience here. I think this new journey will be enjoyable.
