Does anyone know the correct type of paint and color for the various interior wood trip around all the windows etc for a 1947 L-16?

Mike,
The only wood you should see in the cabin is the floorboard. The best I could tell it was black. If your plane is one that has the greenhouse added using wood, might consider silver. I'm re-doing my L16 and decided to paint the exposed tubing in the cabin silver. I don't think it looks too bad.

Thanks Paul. We will probably go with Silver on the tubing and the wood. I am looking for the exact color or color code and maybe the the type of paint especially on the wood. For instance enamal, latex etc.

Mike,
My guess is the formers would be the natural aluminum. Finding the nearest color in a catalyzed enamel would be my choice.
