Hi All,
I am looking for a partner to share the cost of purchase of a hanger at Spadaro Airport in Westhampton, Long Island. The asking price is $15,000 with a current monthly rent to the airport of $150.00, which will hopefully stay the same, but could go to $300.00 if two planes are parked in it. (It will hold 3, but be tight and then intent is to only do 2.) The floor is paved and the inside and doors are high enough to put in a high wing plane on amphib floats. For the time being I would only keep my 7CCM there. There is a paved runway at Spadaro and 100 yards away is Luker Airport (they share airspace and fly opposite direction patterns) with a grass runway.
Anyone have an interest?
Ciao - Bob

Re: LOOKING FOR A HANGER PARTNER
Hi Richard,
That is always the problem with finding partners, the ones that are interested are too far away. Once I get it and advertise locally I am sure I will not have a problem, but it would be nice to have another little Aeronca as a hanger mate.
I bought one hanger at East Hampton Airport, where my C-182 is, but they are truly substantial hangers with heat, electric, electric doors, loft storage and a bathroom etc., but it cost $144,000 8 years ago and when one comes up for sale it will be more. I don't need all the services for my 7CCM that the East Hampton Airport provides.
